|Recommended: Yes1st week review — Love the apartment but there’s no hot water, we’ve already sent a maintenance request for that. The elevators were broken during our move in which caused us to get charged extra by the moving company. We also only got one parking spot for a 2 2 and aren’t allowed to pay for an extra spot so we constantly have to look for parking outside of the building which is very limited. Other than that, the building and amenities are great. Looking forward to seeing how the year goes.

During this time I've seen how everything is getting better and better, from the community to the staff to the amenities. Additionally, they have added AMAZING leasing agents, who are willing to listen and help us on finding solutions. And hats down to the maintenance guys. They are WONDERFUL Extremely professional, act quickly, and super efficient. I highly recommend this building, which have been improving its quality over time. This community is excellent I could not have asked for a better customer service, the building Manager Maria is literally a savior She is always there to assist in every way possible. It is definitely a 5 start community. Superb amenities. I am moving out because I am buying a house but if this building was selling an apartment, I would definitely buy it

|Recommended: NoBest Maintenance Staff — I’ve lived at this location since 2014 and have experienced several changes of property management teams and maintenance staff. The best part about living at Modera Skylar are the maintenance staff Carlos and Leo. They provide excellent customer service and fix problems in a timely manner.

|Recommended: YesI think it's great except for the elevators — It's pretty quiet overall and has nice amenities. The entrance to the building is a little hidden so it's often difficult for people to find it. The elevators are horrendous. They break down constantly and I am often worried about my safety. I have lived here for over a year and they have only gotten worse.

|Recommended: NoIf I could leave 0 stars I would. This is the worst high rise building I have ever lived. There is NO SECURITY. They allow FEDEX, UPS, and USPS to leave packages anywhere in the mail room. I advised them this was a bad idea and they told me they had a camera in the mail room to be protected from robberies. After Today that my package was STOLEN, they let me know the cameras DO NOT RECORD. Which means cameras are useless. I had my car broken into while parked in our gated garage they did nothing about it. there is absolutely no safety or reassurance of anything The elevators never work and I have gotten stuck in the elevator more than once. If you want delivery to your door that just doesn't exist. You have to go downstairs for all your delivery. Plenty of times there have been homeless people sleeping on the steps in front of the building. This community doesn't not make It feel safe.We’ve been living with a broken countertop they told me They can’t fix it unless I move out
|Recommended: NoWill not be renewing lease — Parking availability - attempted to change parking spots in person and was asked to submit an email communication, which was not rejected or accepted, but was ignored completely Neighbors are constantly having loud gatherings despite being in a global pandemic, and no one wears masks in common areas. Construction Quality Elevators are literally always broken. 3rd floor parking lot where our car is constantly has broken elevator buttons so we have difficulty just calling an elevator. Maintenance staff we have interacted with have been prompt and respectful but several things have malfunctioned despite being in a newly renovated unit Staff - Hector is respectful and generally quick to respond to concerns. However other front office staff members have blamed us for the malfunctioning of things like our parking clicker when moving in and never apologized for it the parking gate itself was malfunctioning . We were also accused of renting out our unit online despite the entire building being listed by an outside property company not affiliated to us at all, and we were threatened with eviction. After pointing out the outside property company to the front office, we never received an update or an apology. Overall - We will not be renewing our lease and not be recommending this community to anyone we know.
